Fifth Grade Talent Show

The school will hold "Talent Shows" similar to talent shows every semester.

As a 5th grader, I finally plucked up the courage to tell my mother that I wanted to go on stage and perform cello to my friends this year... I wanted to perform in front of nearly 600 people in the school and challenge myself.

I was pretty scared because I have never performed in a talent show in front of nearly 600 kids and adults. I thought I wasn't going to do well during the performence. But I realized that when performing in front of crowds you just have to pretend that they are invisable and that you have to think that you will not mess up, then you won't. I made it throuh the perform with only a tiny mistake. So, this is how I made it through my first talent show performence.

And today, 5/16.2023, I will perform at the school talent show. Thank you Lord for making me better and better. I will thrive because of your grace... Mom and Dad, have you seen that I work very hard in my studies? On this road. Thank you for your kindness to me since childhood, I love you ️️⋯⋯

Ps.

1. For this performance, my mother went back and forth to school three times to prepare, in order to help me carry the cello and perform clothes, etc.😆

2. I found that I forgot to bring the anti-slip pad. The Endpin was a bit too long. As a result, the position of the cello was too high and some notes were lost. This time, the teacher did not give us time to rehearse. I look forward to my next performance!!

3. I found that there seemed to be some problems with the school’s audio scene. Next time in a similar situation, do we need to prepare our own microphones for recording? 😅
