It first started when Penny was going on a walk in a quiet forest. Then suddenly out of nowhere, a magical elf appeared in front of her, which made her fall to the floor. He was saying something to Penny, but she couldn't understand because he was talking in another language. Penny was so confused, but she pretended like she understood what he was saying. The elf then gave her a magical coin that looked just like a normal coin and said in English, “Be careful on what you use it for.” Penny quickly ran home to her parents to show them the magic coin. Her parents did not believe her and said she made it all up. Penny then angrily stormed to her room, where she decided to use her first wish to make everyone believe what she said. The next day, she told her parents the same story and this time they believed it. That's when Penny realized the elf wasn't lying to her. She was so excited.

Penny went to school with the coin. When she was walking home, she reached into her pocket and realized it had disappeared. Penny searched everywhere. She even ran back to her school, but the coin was not there. When she was just about to give up, she found out the coin was just in her backpack (the only place she didn't check). That's when she wanted to use her second wish to never lose her magical coin ever. When she got home, she wished that all of her animals would never pass away because she loves animals so much and would be sad to lose them.
As Penny went on to make more wishes throughout the month, she realized that if she wished on every small thing that happened in her life, then her life would be kind of boring. If nothing ever happened, she decided to save her wishes even though she didn't know how many wishes she had left. Penny did wish for something that was pretty useful: to become a veterinarian when she grew up. That did happen because when Penny grew up she became the best vet in the world. Penny still used the magical coin for important things, like for the world to never end or for global warming to stop.
Then one day the elf that gave her the coin came back to visit her and said this time in a language she understood, “You must pass on that coin through your family. It is now a family heirloom.” So, that is what she did. She passed it on to her niece as a birthday present.
The End
